Key Responsibilities of the Solar Customer Experience Associate
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for solar customers post-sale, providing proactive updates and guidance throughout the installation process.
- Skillfully manage customer expectations by clearly communicating project timelines, milestones, and any potential adjustments.
- Expertly address a diverse range of customer inquiries related to solar installation, permitting, financing, and system activation.
- Act as a crucial liaison, fostering smooth communication and collaboration between customers and internal teams such as project management, installers, and finance.
- Systematically track customer progress, document interactions, and resolve emerging issues promptly and efficiently within our CRM.
- Educate customers on critical aspects of their solar journey, including system monitoring, warranty information, and how to maximize their new energy solution.
- Collect valuable customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in our Solar Retail processes and service delivery.
- Ensure all customer documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted promptly.
- Champion a customer-first approach, striving to exceed satisfaction benchmarks and foster positive referrals.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing insights and best practices to elevate overall customer experience standards.
Minimum Qualifications of the Solar Customer Experience Associate
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, client relations, account coordination, or a related field with a strong track record of positive customer interactions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a calm, composed demeanor when handling challenging customer situations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM platforms and standard business software, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office, ensuring efficient communication and task management.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
